introduction

Robert is a chartered architect and has been a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects since 1974. During his training period Robert spent six months in an architect's office in Norway, gaining invaluable experience in timber construction and highly insulated buildings. Since then he has held a number of senior posts in both local government and private practice.

Robert is a past chairman of the Coventry Society of Architects.

In July 2009 Robert set up his own practice and in the following year established Robert Lavers Architects Limited. He aims to bring added value to each project and enjoys meeting challenging locations with inspirational ideas. Successful projects include buildings for primary and secondary schools, further education college and university, a range of community buildings and medical centres, and domestic works including new houses, barn conversions and small high quality housing developments. The practice has recently expanded into refurbishment of exclusive residential properties including interior design.

The practice is a corporate sponsor of Leamington Studio Artists.
